I've seen people moaning that life is complicated, But is it really so?! Well, It has never been complicated for me as such. Mainly because I always knew what I desired for and what I always yearned for. So It implies that life's complicated for only confused heads (:P). Since I was born, I always had a list of dreams n desires. As I grew up, these dreams got bigger and bigger. It is human nature to long for more and more and I think there's nothing improper in asking the almighty for more because the universe is loaded with a lot of brilliant stuff and will never run out of them. So, racking my mind and heart, I've come up with certain things that I want to accomplish before I bid farewell to the world. Here I go…
10 THINGS THAT I WANT TO DO BEFORE I DIE
1. I want to dance like Michael Jackson.
(Dance is my passion. The pleasure it brings to my heart and body is inexpressible. I’m fond of every form of dance. And Since I’ve seen M.J’s break dance, I’m going gaga over his steps and moves. Though M.J lives no more, I’ll always fancy him)
2. I want to be officially interviewed on television.
(This would have conveyed the kind of persona I want to build. Personality and style are something every person craves for and I’m one of them.=) I want to be a charmer who’s able to win a million hearts in a split second)
3. I want to go on a grand world tour.
(I’ve always had a hunger for travel. New places have always fascinated me. I’m a true admirer of beauty and hence intend to visit each and every ravishing place existing on earth and I'll regret if this desire remain unaccomplished)
4. I want to learn to speak French and Spanish perfectly.
(It is obvious that to go on a world tour, one must be able to speak at least 2 foreign languages. And I’ve chosen these two. Spanish has always been my favorite foreign language since I had two friends who spoke Spanish and had even taught me a few sentences. French is the other language that I find amazing and will help me to approach people out there)
5. I want to meet all of my online best friends in real life.
(Some of them are Uday, Shamah and Zeeshan. They have made my life so blissful, helped me through the toughest times and made every single moment of my life worth living. When I talk to them, I actually feel that I’m getting closer and closer to my own self)
6. I want to become an expert guitarist.
(For me, Music is divine. It helps me to get my life back to rhythm. Though I still don't possess a guitar but as soon as I get one, I'll devote my heart and soul to it. And that day's not far as my father is going to buy me a guitar within few months)
7. I want to own a library.
(I never thought a book could change my perception, could broaden my point of view. I think I owe something to every book that I’ve read so far. Books have driven away the boredom I had experienced from so long. Now I fall in love with every book that I read, let it be a fiction or a non fiction or some spiritual one. I love them. =)So a library will certainly satisfy my thirst for knowledge)
8. I want to be an excellent cook.
(You might have guessed that I'm a foodie. I have a frenzy for food. I gorge on delicious food as soon as its aroma gets into my nostrils. Therefore I want to grow up being a good cook, so that I can cook delectable food whenever I’m hungry. As I always say, “ If your mom’s a good cook, I’m your best friend”)
9. I want to become the most intelligent student of maths in my school and college.
(There’s a myth that boys are brighter than girls at math and I want to prove it wrong. Math needs concentration and practice and girls are always more hardworking than boys and but all they need is encouragement and someone to wipe out this false belief)
10. I want to be a brilliant poet.
(I still remember my first poem which I had shown only to my best friend, she liked it and insisted on me to write more of them and I did. I’m simply grateful to her for going through each one of them and even for suggesting changes. I’ve realized that poems are a great medium to express your inner self. A poem definitely speaks more than words)
I’ve read somewhere that when you pen down your desires, you get closer to them. With all my heart, I want each of them to be fulfilled just in time. I despise the people who say life is short, it’s a maze and whatsoever, I wonder how life can be so perplexing when one has such beautiful dreams to follow. And if life’s actually short, then I’m working on my dreams from now on. :D
